Workers Bill of Rights

all share buybacks must be matched in compensatory increases for employees. Only 20% of increases can go to management. Executive bonuses cannot be included in this amount.
Before a company can issue shareholder dividends or buybacks they must repay state and federal governments for any public assistance collected by their team members.
Representatives of a companies labor must comprise 1/4 of all publicly traded companies board of directors
Investments in ai automation must be matched with investments in pensions and job replacement for displaced workers
Automation tax - publicly held corporations that automate to cut jobs for increased shareholder returns will be levied an “automation tax” these funds, along with revenue from the SWF will be used to fund a UBI for American workers and improvements in education and infrastructure
Fines for corporations and executives will be assessed as a percentage of annual profits or revenue not a base number. A large company should feel the same pain as a small one when it comes to violations of the law.

Health Care

Make Medicare available for all Americans to buy into as a low-cost alternative to the private healthcare industry
Increase regulation/oversight of private health insurance
- Peer reviews must be conducted by a doctor that holds a similar speciality and is currently board certified in the same state as the doctor they are questioning.
- Break up insurance overreach that is approaching a healthcare monopoly
  - Insurance, medical practices/hospitals, pharmaceutical producers must be separate non entangled entities
- Eliminate Pharmacy Benefit Managers
Invest in cure focused medical research
US Sovereign Wealth Fund gets equity in any company whose pharmaceutical research is funded by our tax dollars

Transportation and Infrastructure

Transportation infrastructure will be both our moonshot and New Deal
Immediate development of regional & long-distance high-speed rail network to rival China other nations.
STEAM grants for colleges and universities for research to help advance transportation and communication technologies that will actually improve the lives of everyday people instead of focusing on useless ai bots and "personal assistant robots" that get billionaires' water.
Partnerships with states and municipalities to modernize airports
Investment in local community public transit
Bike paths and community bus routes to rail hubs
Our infrastructure should be built around helping the people better connect as a community without having to commit hundreds of dollars a month to a car, gas, and insurance unless you choose to.

Taxation

Abolish sales taxes in all states. They are regressive taxes that place a larger burden on those who can afford it least.
Switch from property tax to land use tax
Graduated income tax with 70% top level over $10m a year
Multiple residence tax - increases for each home you own over your primary residence. No property tax on your primary residence.
High tax on Airbnb/rental property income
Increased taxation on all passive wealth
It is the policy of the workers solidarity party that wealth earned without labor should carry the majority of the tax burden for the nation. People who work for their money build and sustain this nation they should get to keep as much of their wages as possible, and should feel the benefits of the taxes they pay in their society.

Housing & Urban Development

New urban development planning focused on people not cars.
- Removing empty retail eyesores and replacing them with medium density housing communities such as town homes, cottage courts, or just small homes with yards.
- Include multiuse buildings with retail/office/restaurants for better community commerce and to help keep neighborhoods tax positive
- New development should focus on public transportation to help american's who do not want to own cars be better able to live in American cities.
Focus on architecture that is harmonious with local environment
- Shade driven architecture and landscaping in hot dry areas. (I'd love for someone to give me a good example of this)
- Focus on indoor passages or underground tunnels in places with freezing temperatures (Chicago's Pedway).
- Architecture designed to catch and store flood waters in areas prone to flash flooding like Los Angeles and Las Vegas. (The Emerald Necklace Plan for the LA River)
Commitment to urban planning for a better future instead of planning to better fit more cars.
- Mix use communities with grocery, cafes, and restaurants, built around public parks and rail stations surrounded by residential communities.
- Designated entertainment districts, developed around specific rail stops with special provisions to encourage live music, drinking, and special events.
Encourage creation of commerce parks in empty infill lots.
- Public parks with green space to include 9’x20’ vendor spaces for Mobile Food Vendors (food trucks) or permanent installation of converted storage container for food service or retail operations.
  - To be leased at a discounted rate to startup companies to encourage local small business economy.
  - Rent paid will go to sustain the program and create more spaces.

Rural Communities and Agriculture

Ensure all rural communities have access to high-speed internet and safe drinking water
Work to connect all small towns to larger cities with either regular bus or rail service where feasible.
Right to repair law for all farm equipment - if you buy it, you should be able get it fixed in a reasonable time frame in a market driven by competition. All companies must have a training and certification program for people in local communities to get licensed to fix their products in a way that is reasonable in both time and cost.
Void all genetic copyrights.
- These copyrights are being used to suffocate the small farmer so that giant corporations can swallow them, or at least all of their profits.
Grants to support developing wind, solar and other renewable electric generation in rural areas through tax credits, and investing in new transmission lines
Job training for the working poor, and loans, tax credits and training to help small businesses and farms prosper
